LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Sunrise Resources announced on Thursday that drilling was now scheduled to start at its Baker's gold project in Western Australia on or around 7 May.
The AIM-traded firm said the programme will consist of five holes for a total of 600 metres of drilling.
It said three 100 metre deep holes would test the DLR4 gold geochemical anomaly, while one 200 metre deep hole would test beneath the Dicky Lee gold specimen pit.
The final, 100 metre, hole would test an additional area of old mine workings.
"We are pleased to have secured a drilling contractor for this work which has been a long time in planning but now possible following the completion of a favourable Aboriginal heritage clearance survey," said executive chairman Patrick Cheetham.
"The programme is expected to last for seven to 10 days.
"Assay results are expected approximately six weeks after completion of the programme."
At 1308 BST, shares in Sunrise Resources were down 4.17% at 0.2p.
