(Sharecast News) - Shares in Empyrean Energy surged on Friday morning after the AIM-listed oil and gas explorer moved closer to drilling the Mako Gas Field offshore Indonesia after securing a jack-up drilling rig.

(Sharecast News) - Empyrean Energy said on Friday that the operator of the Duyung production sharing contract had signed a binding contract for subsea engineering, procurement, construction and installation work to support development of the Mako gas field in Indonesia.
