LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Data management firm 1Spatial said on Monday that it has inked a multi-year deal with Northern Gas Networks to deliver Britain's first enterprise migration to Esri's new ArcGIS utility network model.
1Spatial said the contract's total value, which will predominantly fall into the trading year ending 31 January 2022, was in excess of £1.0m, of which the recurring revenue element was expected to be over £200,000.
The AIM-listed group's platform, including its 1Integrate tools, will be deployed to conduct a data quality audit, as well as a data cleanse and enhancement, to ensure the data was fit for migration to the new model, which will be implemented in the ArcGIS utility network.
1Spatial also highlighted that the project was "a repeatable solution" for utility providers across all territories.
Chief executive Claire Milverton said: "We are delighted to expand our relationship with Northern Gas Networks and to collaborate with Esri UK to deliver the UK's first utility network migration project utilising ArcGIS and 1Integrate.
"The contract highlights the potential expansion opportunities in the utilities sector and exemplifies the breadth and depth of 1Spatial's capabilities as a leader in data management and migrations."
As of 1035 GMT, 1Spatial shares were up 3.68% at 29.03p.
