LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Mobile commerce company Bango has signed a "significant", multi-year platform agreement with an unnamed "major" global telecoms provider, it announced on Thursday.
The AIM-traded firm said the deal was for an initial three year period and was worth at least ?1.5 in total to Bango, with the opportunity for the company to earn additional revenues over the period.
Under the agreement, the telecoms provider will deliver a range of third-party products and services to its customers through the Bango platform, and would benefit from Bango data insights to optimise the targeting of product offers.
"This agreement, which began to take shape in 2019, is the second deal referred to in the trading update issued on 31 December," the board confirmed.
"The first, announced on 3 April, was the data partnership with NHN."
At 1616 BST, shares in Bango were up 2.82% at 123.9p.
