LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Computer board designer and manufacturer Concurrent Technologies announced on Friday that its former chairman, Michael Collins, intends to retire as a director and from the board on 30 September.
The AIM-traded firm noted Collins had been a director since 1987 and, until the last annual general meeting, had been chairman for 31 years.
It said he had been "instrumental" in the development of the company, from its formation through its initial public offering to its current status as an established public company.
His contribution had helped the firm to achieve key milestones, the directors added, explaining that he had overseen and supported the organisation through successful, as well as challenging, times.
"I am extremely grateful to Michael for his support and encouragement over the years, and especially since I was appointed CEO in May 2019," said chief executive officer Jane Annear.
"His advice and guidance during this time has been invaluable to me."
At 1244 BST, shares in Concurrent Technologies were down 0.89% at 118.44p.
