LONDON (ShareCast) - Aviad Kobrine, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of online gaming entertainment and solutions provider 888, on Monday sold 1.1m pounds-worth of shares in the group, reducing his stake to 3.76m shares.

Kobrine, who has held the role of CFO since mid-2005, sold 685,390 shares at 159.51p each.

In its half-year report issued at the end of August the company posted record revenue, driven by the strong performance of its casino and poker products.

Total revenue rose by 7% to $200.1m as casino and poker revenues both increased by 13% to $94.1m and $46.9m, respectively.

Adjusted pre-tax profit was up 36% to $38.1m while adjusted earnings per share grew 37% to $0.09 and adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) climbed 7% to $38.6m.
