LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - James Cropper said on Monday that chairman Mark Cropper had acquired 14,015 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed materials and paper products group.
Cropper, who purchased the shares from three members of his family and two members of the Willink family, made the transaction on Friday at an average price of 1,100.0p each, for a total value of £154,165.

Following the transaction, Cropper will have a beneficial shareholding in 1.85m ordinary shares, representing 19.4% of the company's total issued share capital.

Earlier in March, Cropper said that the first half of its trading year had been "particularly challenging" due to the significant impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

As of 1645 GMT, Cropper shares were down 0.91% at 1,090.0p.
