LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Globalworth Real Estate Investments revealed on Monday that chief executive Ioannis Papalekas had acquired 3m ordinary shares in the AIM-listed group.
Papalekas, Globalworth's founder, purchased the shares on Friday at an average price of €9.10 each, for a total value of €27.3m.

The industry vet now holds 29.15m ordinary shares in the central and eastern Europe-focussed office real estate investor, representing 15% of its issued share capital.

Earlier in the month, Globalworth completed its acquisition of two investments in Poland, which were identified as part of its acquisition pipeline, for a combined transaction value of €113.2m on Friday.

As of 1630 BST, Globalworth shares were up 1.87% at €9.30 each.
