LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Science in Sport was on the list of director buys on Monday after a sizeable purchase was linked to a non-executive director.
The company said Lombard Odier Asset Management Europe picked up 900,000 shares on 4 July, in a transaction outside a trading venue.

It paid 12p for each share, valuing the purchase at a total of £108,000.

Science in Sport described Lombard Odier Europe as being "closely associated" with its non-executive director Henry Turcan.

On the selling side of things was Victorian Plumbing, after its chairman offloaded 185,000 shares in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange.

The firm said Philip Bowcock sold the shares for 71.3p, valuing the transaction at £131.905.

"These ordinary shares were sold to enable Philip Bowcock to satisfy his tax and national insurance liabilities which arose on 22 June, as a result of some of his shares being released from restrictions in accordance with his restricted share awards," the board said in its statement.

"Following this transaction, Philip Bowcock holds 1,259,718 ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.39% of the company's issued share capital."

At 1551 BST, shares in Victorian Plumbing Group were up 0.14% at 71.7p, while those in Science in Sport were ahead 0.79% at 14.11p.
