LONDON (ShareCast) - Shares in engineer Keller Group were up 1.2% on Wednesday morning after it was awarded a £28m contract at Changi Airport in Singapore.
The FTSE 250 group will provide vibrocompaction of the ground as part of the land preparation works for a major expansion of the airport.

The contract is for a total amount of 56m Singapore dollars (£28m) and Keller said mobilisation had already begun, with the main works poised to start imminently and expected to be completed by mid-2016.

Chief executive Justin Atkinson said: "This contract award reflects both the Group's excellent track record using vibrocompaction in Singapore and extensive experience in similar airport construction projects around the world, including previously at Changi."

November saw Keller's shares drop on investor concern about the difficult conditions in European markets and weakness in Australia, despite the group delivering a trading update in line with expectations for the period from 1 July to 16 November.
