LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - DDoS protection outfit Corero Network Security has expanded its strategic partnership with Juniper Networks, enabling Juniper to now sell its full portfolio of solutions to customers with any network infrastructure configuration.
Corero said on Tuesday that its expanded partnership further strengthened its existing relationship with Juniper and was expected to facilitate joint new business opportunities, specifically with tier-one telecommunication providers and enterprises with mixed network environments.
Previously limited to Juniper-only deployments, Corero's technology now extends its sub-second detection and mitigation to multi-vendor networks through a unified code base supporting both Juniper's ephemeral configuration and BGP FlowSpec for non-Juniper routers.
Chief executive Carl Herberger said: "Corero's partnership with Juniper has played a key role in our joint growth for almost ten years, and I am delighted to be expanding our successful relationship via this mutually beneficial contract extension.
"Alliance partnerships like this continue to provide Corero with an unparalleled route to market as we remain focused on accelerating our go-to-market strategy and delivering footprint expansion across the globe."
As of 0955 BST, Corero shares were down 0.84% at 16.56p.
