LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Harworth Group revealed on Wednesday that chairman Alastair Lyons had acquired 95,000 ordinary shares in the London-listed land and property development company.
Lyons, who took over as chair back in May 2018, purchased the shares at an average price of 104.70p each, for a total value of £99,465.

Back in October, Harworth entered into a joint venture to pursue a strategic land opportunity in the Midlands as it continued to grow its long-term land pipeline for new residential and commercial development.

Harworth said it had entered into a 50-50 joint venture with Hallam Land Management - part of Henry Boot - with a view to promoting and developing a mixed-use strategic land opportunity in the Midlands.

As of 1630 BST, Harworth shares were down 3.23% at 105p.
