LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Professional services consultancy Driver Group has concluded a strategic partnership with African claims and dispute resolution consultancy EVRA Consulting, headquartered in Johannesburg, it announced on Monday.
The AIM-traded firm said the partnership would combine the services and skill sets of its 'Diales' experts with EVRA's relationships and network, to bring the benefits of expert commissions to clients across the African continent.
Driver also announced the strengthening of its Middle East presence, with the appointment in Dubai of David Merritt, who it described as a well-known "quantum expert" with more than 35 years of experience in the construction and engineering sectors.
"I am delighted that Driver has been able to forge a strategically important partnership with Africa's premier claims and dispute business," said chief executive officer Mark Wheeler.
"This joint offering will enable us to bring our service, skills and expertise to 54 national markets across Africa, all of which will benefit from our specialist, higher margin Diales services and many of which we have never hitherto been able to access.
"In the Middle East, our appointment of David Merritt, an acknowledged industry Expert, strengthens our competitive position locally, and brings additional benefits to our clients right across the region."
