LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Copper-gold exploration and development company Bezant said on Monday that the Mines and Geosciences Bureau of the Philippine Department of the Environment and Natural Resources was still reviewing Crescent Mining's renewal application.
The AIM-traded firm said the renewal was for a second 25-year term on Mineral Production Sharing Agreement 057-96-CAR.
"The initial 25-year term of the agreement expired on 11 November, and in accordance with Executive Order 292, shall not expire until the renewal application has been finally determined," the board said in its statement.
"The company will provide further updates as and when appropriate."
At 1330 GMT, shares in Bezant Resources were up 0.59% at 0.17p.
