LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Secure payment products provider Eckoh said on Tuesday that it had scored its largest-ever global secure payments cloud contract win.
Eckoh stated the contract, secured with a leading global food and drink company, will see it provide secure payments services from its cloud platforms to the new client's global contact centre operations.
The AIM-listed group said the three-year contract, won following a successful competitive tender process, was worth a minimum of $1.5m in total and comes with the expectation that it will be exceeded, with Eckoh anticipating it will have the opportunity to "significantly upscale" the value of the relationship.
Eckoh added that the contract will help support forecast growth in the next financial year and beyond, and that it also expects to see more global procurement contracts like this for cloud delivery, as major enterprises seek to uphold "rigorous security standards".
Chief executives Nik Philpot said: "We expect our ongoing investment in cloud platforms, and continued innovation in our security offering, will maintain Eckoh's position as market leader in the fast-growing data and payments security market for the customer engagement industry."
As of 1100 GMT, Eckoh shares were up 0.21% at 47.10p.
