MTI Wireless Edge flags record quarterly revenue, profitability

By Josh White

Date: Monday 24 Nov 2025

LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - MTI Wireless Edge reported record quarterly revenue and profitability on Monday, as strong demand across defence, 5G and water-management markets lifted performance in all three of its operating divisions.
The AIM-traded group posted a 12% rise in revenue to $37.8m for the nine months ended 30 September and a 21% increase in operating profit to $4.2m, supported by higher cash generation and a stronger balance sheet.

Earnings per share rose 20% to 4.31 cents, while net cash from operating activities increased sharply to $4.0m compared with $1.1m in the same period last year.

MTI ended the quarter with net cash of $6.4m, up from $4.8m a year earlier.

The company said it expected to declare a progressive final dividend alongside its full-year results in the first quarter of 2026.

It said its antenna division delivered strong growth, driven primarily by rising global defence spending, which has increased demand for military antennas throughout the year.

MTI noted a slower pace of demand in India for its 5G backhaul solution compared with the first half, a trend that has continued into the final quarter.

However, it said its ABS antenna technology continued to attract significant commercial interest from major cellular operators and that the division was well placed for the remainder of 2025 with several large tenders pending.

Mottech, the group's electronic water-management and irrigation arm, also recorded a strong third quarter, supported by rising awareness of water scarcity across its core markets, including Israel, the Gulf States, Italy and the US.

MTI Summit, which includes defence-focused subsidiary PSK, returned to profit in the period and reported a growing pipeline of opportunities, with defence again the main revenue driver.

The company said it was positioned for a strong full-year outcome, benefiting from three distinct growth markets - defence, 5G infrastructure and water-management solutions.

It added that its robust cash generation supports a progressive dividend policy.

"This quarter delivered record revenues and profitability, positioning the business for a strong full-year performance," said chief executive Moni Borovitz.

"The company has also been highly cash-generative, with net cash provided by operating activities of $4m in the first nine months of 2025 compared with $3.1m for the full 12 months of 2024.

"Overall, this represents a very satisfying performance to date."

He added that MTI was "strategically placed to benefit from three key growth markets - defence, the roll-out of 5G, and solutions addressing water scarcity," noting that defence now accounted for 48% of total sales.

"We continue to be pleased by the significant commercial interest that our ABS antenna solution is attracting, including from leading global cellular operators," he said, adding that a strong order backlog and several upcoming tenders supported confidence heading into 2026.

At 1349 GMT, shares in MTI Wireless Edge were up 9.15% at 46.39p.
