LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Galantas Gold announced an increase in gold concentrate processing at the Galantas Gold Mine in Omagh, Northern Ireland on Monday.
The AIM-traded firm began three-shift processing on 26 October.
It said the addition of a third shift had increased milling from 84 hours to 120 hours per week.
"Additional training and labour re-organisation has enabled the change to be made, without additional hiring, by redeployment within the business," the board explained in its short statement.
"An increase in gold concentrate output of up to 43% is anticipated, due to the increase in weekly milling hours."
At 1201 GMT, shares in Galantas Gold Corporation were flat at 16.5p.
