LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Warren Buffett has further lowered his stake in tech giant Apple, downsizing Berkshire Hathaway's biggest equity holding for a fourth consecutive quarter.
Berkshire Hathaway held $69.9bn worth of Apple shares at the end of September, implying that Buffett had disposed of approximately a quarter of his stake and now holds roughly 300.0m shares.
In total, Berkshire Hathaway's stake was down 67.2% year-on-year.
As of 0930 GMT, Apple shares were down 0.64% in pre-market trading at $221.49 each.
