LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Gold producer Goldplat said on Monday that Gerard Kisbey Green would take over as chairman of the company, with immediate effect.
Green will succeed Matthew Robinson, who Goldplat stated would stand down from the role back on 6 May.
The AIM-listed group highlighted that Green has been a director of Goldplat for more than seven years, in an executive and subsequently a non-executive capacity.
"With an in-depth knowledge of the Group, as well as significant industry and investment banking experience, the company believes that he is well qualified to guide the board of directors," said Goldplat.
As of 1310 BST, Goldplat shares were down 3.99% at 9.84p.
