LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Manufacturing and engineering business Senior named Alpna Amar as chief financial officer on Wednesday, with effect from May 2025.
Senior said Amar will join its board in April 2025, before succeeding current CFO Bindi Foyle the following month.
The FTSE 250-listed group noted that Amar will join its ranks from Kier Group, where she currently serves as a corporate development director. Amar was also a non-executive director at Chemring.
Chief executive David Squires said: "I am delighted that Alpna will be joining Senior as our new Group CFO. Alpna brings a wealth of experience in our end markets and a strong track record of helping to enhance shareholder value. I am sure she will make a fantastic contribution to Senior for the benefit of all of our stakeholders."
As of 0825 GMT, Senior shares were up 1.72% at 142.0p.
