LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Specialist recruiter Gattaca has appointed former Verifone executive Kevin Freeguard to the vacant role of chief executive officer with effect from 1 October.
Gattaca told investors on Wednesday that Freeguard brought a "wealth of skills and experience" from his role at Verifone, where he was managing director of UK and Ireland from 2014 to 2018.
Before Verifone, Freeguard was with De La Rue, where he was managing director for the company's solutions division.
Gattaca's chairman Patrick Shanley said: "Kevin is an experienced international executive who has successfully led businesses across a number of sectors in his career."
Freeguard added: "Gattaca's expertise in providing complete talent solutions both in the UK and internationally positions it well for the future. I am looking forward to developing the business further with the board and the rest of the Gattaca team."
As of 0900 BST, Gattaca shares had slipped 3.53% to 130p.
