LONDON (ShareCast) - Financial services company STM Group has appointed Therese Neish as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with immediate effect.

She replaces Alan Kentish who has been appointed as Director of Product and Business Development.

Niesh has been with the company since 2003 after training with KPMG. She spent five years in STM’s Insurance Management division before becoming Group Financial Controller.

Chief Executive Colin Porter: "Therese has worked with the senior management team at STM for 10 years and knows the business very well. We are confident that she will be a great asset to the board of STM.

"The board would like to thank Alan for his guidance as CFO and looks forward to his contribution in further shaping STM's product offering in markets where the current product choice does not meet customer requirements.”

Shares held at 25.50p at 15:27 on Friday.
