LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Budget airlines Wizz Air and Ryanair reported another surge in passenger numbers in January as travel continued to rebound from the Covid pandemic.
Hungary-based Wizz on Thursday said it carried 4,15 million passengers in January, up 73.1% year on year at a load factor of 86%, up 6.4%.
Irish rival Ryanair said its numbers increased 69% to 11.8 million at a load factor of 91%, up 12%.
