LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Wizz Air and low-cost rival Ryanair both reported a surge in February passenger numbers as travel continued to rebound from the Covid pandemic and associated restrictions.
The Hungary-based low-cost airline carried 3,786,739 passengers, representing a 97.1% increase compared to February 2022, at a load factor of 93.3%.
Ryanair numbers increased by 22% year-on-year to 10.6 million with an improved load factor of 92% .
