LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Plastic and rubber sustainability specialist Symphony Environmental Technologies announced the immediate resignations of non-executive director Bob Wigley and executive director Alexander Brennan on Friday.
The AIM-traded firm said both Wigley and Brennan had stepped down from their positions on the board to pursue other business ventures.
In light of the departures, the Symphony board would now consist of three executive directors and one non-executive director.
The board said its current members included Nicholas Clavel, who serves as the non-executive director and chairman, chief executive officer Michael Laurier, chief financial officer Ian Bristow, and Michael Stephen, holding the positions of executive director and deputy chairman.
In adherence to the QCA corporate governance guidelines, Symphony said it would onboard two new independent non-executive directors.
To achieve that, the company said it would be enlisting the assistance of an external search agency.
"On behalf of the board, I would like to thank both Alexander and Bob for their contributions during their time with the group and in turn wish them the best in their other business endeavours," said chairman Nicholas Clavel.
At 0804 BST, shares in Symphony Environmental Technologies were down 2.7% at 9p.
