LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Genus said on Tuesday that chief financial officer Alison Henriksen plans to retire after five years with the animal genetics company.
Henriksen will remain in her existing role until the end of July 2025 to assist with the transition and continue to focus on delivery of the group's strategic priorities until her retirement.
Genus said the board has kicked off a comprehensive search for her successor and will provide an update once the process has concluded.
Chief executive Jorgen Kokke said: "On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Alison for her support and significant contribution to Genus's development over the last five years. Alison's financial leadership has been instrumental in Genus building a strong growth platform for many years to come."
At 1250 BST, the shares were down 3.2% at 1,998p.
