LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Materials developer Ilika has appointed former ARM executive Mike Inglis to its board.
The AIM-listed stock which is best known for its battery technology said the appointment is effective immediately.
Ilika said it expected Inglis to take over as non-executive chairman from Jack Boyer after Ilika's AGM in September.
Prior to joining ARM, Inglis worked for management consultancy firm AT Kearney and before that held a number of senior operational and marketing positions at Motorola.
Ilika chief executive Graeme Purdy said Inglis' commercial experience was particularly relevant to Ilika's growth plans.
Shares in Ilika dropped by 5% to 70.30p by 13:13
