(Sharecast News) - BNP Paribas shares were in the red on Thursday morning, after it reported third-quarter net income of €2.87bn, marking a 5.9% year-on-year increase, amid challenges in its core lending business and a mixed performance from investment banking.

BNP Paribas to buy HSBC's private banking business in Germany

(Sharecast News) - BNP Paribas said on Monday that it has agreed to buy HSBC's private banking activities in Germany, as it looks to position its wealth management arm "among the top leading players in Germany" and bring its assets under management to more than €40bn.
