LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Banknote authentication, brand protection and gaming security technology company Spectra Systems announced on Friday that chief financial officer Brian McLain had tendered his resignation, effective 3 June.
The AIM-traded firm said McLain was departing to pursue other business opportunities.
"Brian has been an invaluable resource to the company and to me and on behalf of the board I thank him for all of his contribution to Spectra and wish him every success in future," said chief executive officer Dr Nabil Lawandy.
"We are confident we will attract highly qualified candidates and be successful in appointing a new chief financial officer in the very near term.
"A search for his successor is underway and we will make an appropriate announcement when that process concludes."
At 1136 BST, shares in Spectra Systems Corporation were up 1.3% at 148.4p.
