LONDON (ShareCast) - Haydale Graphene announced that it has successfully for a Chinese patent and expects it to be granted in August.
The patent is one of several related to Haydale's plasma process.
"I am very pleased that our application for a patent in China has been allowed. This confirmation that we will soon be granted our first patent is a real milestone in our IP strategy and protects our key technologies," said Ray Gibbs, Haydale's chief executive.
As of 9:30 BST, shares in Haydale were 0.9% higher at 122.1p.
