LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Ecora Resources and Card Factory both announced significant transactions involving their directors on Monday.
On the buying side of the ledger, Ecora Resources said that on 13 June, chief executive officer Marc Bishop Lafleche acquired 52,500 shares for 73.86p each.

Following that, on 14 June, non-executive chairman Andrew Webb purchased 25,000 shares at an average price of 74.7p apiece.

Most recently, on 17 June, chief financial officer Kevin Flynn bought 33,083 shares at an approximate price of 74.7p as well.

All transactions took place on the London Stock Exchange.

Greeting cards, gifts, and celebration retailer Card Factory meanwhile reported the allotment of 858,680 new ordinary shares on 14 June, following the exercise of nil-cost restricted share options under its long term incentive clan.

The allotment included shares issued to chief executive officer Darcy Willson-Rymer, who exercised his right to acquire a total of 257,218 shares.

On the same day, Willson-Rymer sold 121,319 of these shares to meet income tax and national insurance liabilities arising from the vesting.

Under the terms of the restricted share award, the remaining shares would be subject to a holding period prohibiting their sale before 14 June 2026.

Prior to the award vesting, Willson-Rymer held 358,124 shares.

After the vesting and the sale to cover tax liabilities, he now held 494,023 shares, representing 0.14% of the company's total voting rights.

At the close on Monday, shares in Ecora Resources were up 3.23% at 76.8p, while those in Card Factory were ahead 1.31% at 92.6p.
