LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Big data company Rosslyn Data Technologies has secured a three-year spend analytics contract worth more than €1m with an unnamed "global brewing giant".
With the launch of its RAPid platform, RDT locked in the contract, made up of a €500,000 payment in its first year and €250,000 per annum for the next two years.
The contract includes options to extend beyond the term as well as the capability of providing additional technical and professional services during the contract life to help its client generate maximum business value.
RDT said its RAPid platform will enable decision makers at the "large global company" to access up to date and relevant information that will support them to better manage and mitigate supply chain risks, capture valuable procurement savings, deliver business efficiencies, improve employee productivity and meet a growing register of compliance and regulatory obligations.
Chief executive Roger Bullen, said, "Our focus on the spend data analytics market continues to deliver a number of opportunities and this extremely important win demonstrates the continued demand for our data services in this sector and our expertise in managing complex, vast data sizes, requiring rapid and efficient deployment."

As of 1420 BST, Rosslyn shares had shot up 7.73% to 4.74p.
