LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Esports and gaming solutions provider Gfinity said on Wednesday that it had entered into a commercial agreement with Coca-Cola HBC as the tournament operator for its upcoming Football Manager competition - the COPA Challenge.
Gfinity will work alongside Coca-Cola HBC to ensure the effective management of the event across the Republic of Ireland and Italy, in partnership with Italian tournament organiser PG Esports.
Under the terms of the agreement, Gfinity will be responsible for the full operation of the highly popular football management simulation game tournament from the design stage through to launch and broadcast delivery.
The month-long tournament will run throughout October consisting of eight shows broadcast digitally.
Elsewhere, Gfinity also announced that it had been appointed by ASK4 as the tournament operator for the company's sponsored FIFA 22 tournament for students in purpose-built accommodation.
The AIM-listed firm will again be responsible for the full operation of the tournament, delivering "an engaging experience" for students at selected purpose-built accommodation buildings in Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham.
As of 0935 BST, Gfinity shares were down 1.19% at 4.0p.
