LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Africa-focussed explorer and developer Atlantic Lithium announced the immediate resignation of Stuart Crow from the board on Tuesday.
The AIM-traded company said that having served for a decade, Crow had decided to step down to dedicate his time and efforts to his other business ventures.
It said that during his tenure as senior non-executive director, Crow played a crucial role in guiding Atlantic Lithium through a transformative phase, positioning the company as a significant lithium producer in the near future.
However, with the company's leadership team steadily taking shape and the focus shifting towards the first production from the Ewoyaa Lithium Project, Crow had chosen to transition away from his position to concentrate on his expanding business interests.
"Stu has served as a highly valued member of the Atlantic Lithium board for over a decade," said executive chairman Neil Herbert .
"In this time, he has played a significant role in the company's ability to weather commodity and market cycles and his insights have been vital in advancing the company from junior multi-commodity explorer to near-term lithium producer."
At 1327 BST, shares in Atlantic Lithium were down 2.53% at 33.09p.
