LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Drax non-executive director Melanie Gee is to resign from the company's board.
In an update to the London Stock Exchange, the power plants operator said Gee's resignation will take effect at the conclusion of its Annual General Meeting to be held in April, as she has decided not to seek re-election.
Philip Cox, chairman of Drax, commented, "On behalf of the Board, I should like to thank Melanie for her valuable contribution to Drax over the past three years."
At 1621 GMT, Drax's shares were up 5.63% or 13.10p to 245.90p.
