LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Building products manufacturer Ibstock said on Thursday that it has appointed Simon Bedford as interim chief financial officer until the process to appoint a permanent successor to Chris McLeish has been concluded.
Ibstock announced in April that McLeish was leaving the business on 10 October.
Bedford is currently group financial controller, having joined the company in June 2020 following 19 years at Rolls Royce in a number of senior finance roles, including deputy finance director operations and civil aerospace financial controller.
He is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from Warwick Business School.
"We continue with the recruitment process and we will update the market as soon as a decision has been made," the company said.
