LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - URU Metals was forced to issue a statement on Friday, as its share price soared on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange.
The firm's stock steadily declined over the month to Wednesday, reaching a low of 0.28p, but in the last two days has more than doubled.
Quite why was an apparent mystery to URU's board.
"The board of directors of URU Metals has noted the recent rise in the company's share price and confirms that it knows of no operational or corporate reason for the price movement."
At 1623 BST, shares in URU Metals were trading at 0.58p.
