LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Escape room operator Escape Hunt has launched remote versions of its most popular experiences, it announced on Wednesday, being 'Doctor Who: Worlds Collide' and 'The Fourth Samurai', via remote platforms.
The AIM-traded firm explained that customers could play the physical escape rooms via the videoconferencing platform Zoom.
They would "take control" of a real-life expert games master, move them around the physical room, find hidden clues, solve puzzles and "battle to escape" before time ran out.
It said both games were charged per game on an hourly basis.
"We are delighted to be expanding our range of 'at home' experiences with remote play games," said chief executive officer Richard Harpham.
"Initial trials of the games have been extremely successful and it is fantastic that now, using technology, we can give people the opportunity to play our popular physical escape rooms in their own homes."
At 1329 BST, shares in Escape Hunt were up 19.27% at 9.84p.
