LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Software-as-a-service supplier Access Intelligence has appointed former Chime chief executive Christopher Satterthwaite to its board as its new non-executive chairman.
Satterthwaite will take over from current chair Michael Jackson, who will remain on AI's board as a non-executive director, on 1 September.
Chris spent 15 years as Chime's chief executive and remains a non-executive director of the group.
During his tenure as chief executive, Satterthwaite grew Chime to an operating income of £246m and oversaw the sale of a majority stake in the business to Providence Equity Partners for £374m.
Satterthwaite said, "I'm delighted to be joining a market-leading company in this sector at such a dynamic time in media, politics and communications. Reputation management is more important to business success than ever and technology is transforming how communications are monitored and managed."
"Vuelio, the group's flagship reputation management and comms platform, is supporting public relations and communications professionals through this disruption and helping them take advantage of these changes," added Satterthwaite.
As of 1115 BST, AI shares had ticked up 0.98% to 5.15p.
