LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Automotive acoustic and thermal insulation company Autins Group announced on Monday that Kamran Munir would join its board as chief financial officer, with effect from 1 January.
The AIM-traded firm described Munir as a "highly experienced" strategic and operational chief financial officer, with a background of large corporate and venture capital roles.
He was joining Autins from Precision Castparts (PCC) - an NYSE-listed manufacturer of complex metal components and products.
Munir began there in 2008 as finance director for Special Metals, a specialist alloys producer; and was more recently European finance director for Timet, a manufacturer of titanium alloys for the aerospace industry.
Prior to PCC, he was European financial controller for SPX Corporation, and CEO of Spectral Fusion Technologies, a private equity and venture capital-backed technology company."I am delighted to welcome Kamran to the Autins' board," said chairman Adam Attwood.
"He is an experienced financial professional with a strong track record of improving operational performance, cash flow management and profitability in manufacturing companies."
