LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Chemicals company investor Wilmcote has appointed former Laird executive Kevin Dangerfield to its board as chief financial officer with immediate effect.
During his tenure at Laird, Dangerfield led the group through a re-organisation and strategic re-focus, significantly improving margins and cash flow, and subsequently negotiating the firm's sale to Advent International in 2018.
Before taking over as head of finance at electronic components maker Laird, Wilmcote's newest board member served as CFO of Morgan Advanced Materials for a decade from 2006, following six years as its group financial controller.
Chief executive Adrian Whitfield said: "I am delighted to welcome Kevin to Wilmcote. He has extensive knowledge and experience that will support the successful delivery of our investment strategy."
As of 1000 BST, Wilmcote shares had dipped 1.54% to 96p.
