LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Remote location services specialist RA International Group has secured a contract in an unnamed central African country, with an unidentified publicly-listed US company, it announced on Tuesday.
The AIM-traded firm said the client was a new one for it, and had engaged RA International to provide support services in connection with their work in strengthening the capacity of local security sector institutions on behalf of the US Government.
It said the contract was for one base year, with four further option years, and was beginning in the fourth quarter of 2018.
The contract value over the full five years was up to $5.6m, not including the potential supply of equipment and materials, which could increase the value of the contract to RA International.
"It is very encouraging to win this long-term contract," said RA International chief executive officer Soraya Narfeldt.
"I am confident that our role will be crucial to ensuring the project's success."
