LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Healthcare firm Uniphar has acquired New York-based medical affairs services provider BESTMSLs for an undisclosed price.
Uniphar said on Monday that the acquisition would be satisfied with an upfront payment, as well as considerations payable upon achievement of targets based on the business' underlying earnings performance.
The AIM-listed firm stated the acquisition was forecast to deliver a return on capital employed to the group in line with its target rate of 12-15% within three years.
Chief executive Ger Rabbette said: "BESTMSLs is a strong strategic fit for Uniphar.
"This acquisition will benefit from the good work Diligent Health Solutions and RRD International are doing."
As of 1020 BST, Uniphar shares were down 1.35% at 320.60p.
