LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Medical device developer Belluscura revealed on Monday that its X-PLO₂R portable oxygen concentrator has won the Providers' Choice Gold accolade at the Medtrade East home medical equipment trade show and conference in Atlanta.
Belluscura stated that its X-PLO₂R system weighs less than 1.5kg and noted that its directors believe it to be the world's first modular portable oxygen concentrator that generates more oxygen by weight than any other Food & Drug Administration cleared POC in its class.

Chief executive Robert Rauker said: "It is fantastic news and a great achievement that our portable oxygen concentrator has received the highest accolade given by the largest home medical equipment trade show and conference in the US.

"This award solidifies the strong demand we are receiving for the product and we will update shareholders with expected unit deliveries for 2021 and 2022 in the near future."

As of 1120 BST, Belluscura shares were up 4.06% at 99.90p.
