LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Mining company Tungsten West named Alistair Stobie as its next chief financial officer on Friday, effective 13 November.
Tungsten West said Stobie, who previously served as CFO at Hurricane Energy and Octavia Energy, had "a strong track record" of leading the finance function of AIM-listed businesses within the energy and natural resources sector.
Chairman David Cather said: "On behalf of the Board, I am delighted to welcome Alistair to the company. His extensive experience in fundraising and debt refinancing will play a pivotal role as we look to continue towards the recommencement of operations at Hemerdon."
As of 0920 GMT, Tungsten West shares were up 2.26% at 1.58p.
