LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Greencoat Wind UK said it was buying the Andershaw wind farm in the UK from Norway's Statkraft for £121m.
The acquisition will be funded using the company's revolving credit facility and gearing will increase to £1.050bn of outstanding debt, equating to 30% of Gross Asset Value, Greencoat said on Tuesday.
Andershaw is a 35MW farm located in South Lanarkshire, Scotland made up of 11 turbines. It was commissioned in February 2017 with a load factor of 34.8%. Greencoat said it had entered into a power purchase agreement with Statkraft until 2037, which also would provide management services to the wind farm.
