The Fund invests the majority of its assets in equity securities issued by large companies with market capitalizations of at least $10 billion that we believe are of high quality and whose shares are selling at attractive prices.
The U.S. stock market as represented by the S&P500® Index decreased for the month of September. The consumer goods and financials sectors were the top performers for the month while basic materials and technology were the worst. Our largest overweight position was Costco Wholesale (- 3.18%), which had a negative net contribution. Our largest underweight position was Exxon Mobil (-2.94%), which had a positive net contribution.
