LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Bank of Georgia was at the top of the list of director sells on Friday, after an entity linked to an independent non-executive director made two separate transactions.
The company said Gemsstock Limited sold 32,000 shares on 17 May, and then sold 81,640 shares on 16 May.

The first transaction was for a price of 3,153p per share, valuing it at £1,008,960.00, while the second, larger transaction was for 3,366p apiece, giving it a value of £2,748,002.40.

Bank of Georgia said Gemsstock was related to its independent non-executive director Alasdair Breach.

Elsewhere, Imperial Brands was in focus after its chief executive officer sold more than £0.7m worth of shares.

The cigarette giant said Stefan Bomhard offloaded 40,168 shares in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange on 18 May.

Bomhard sold the shares for 1,801.31p each, valuing the transaction at a total of £723,550.48.

The company said Bomhard sold the shares to pay the tax due on the exercise of his long-term investment plan award, and the transfer of roll-up shares.

At the close on Friday, shares in Bank of Georgia Group were down 1.51% at 3,270p, while those in Imperial Brands were up 0.08% at 1,787.5p.
