LONDON (ShareCast) - - Strong start to 2014
- Trading in line with expectations
- Signs a string of new business across geographical divisions
Advertising agency M&C Saatchi said 2014 has started well and trading was in line with expectations as it reported progress across its geographical divisions.
LIDA, its direct marketing shop, continued to win new business, including Land Rover Dealers, Odeon Cinemas and the Alzheimer's Charity. LIDA is to open in Australia and Sweden.
Elsewhere in the UK, Sports and Entertainment won Sky Bet, and M&C Saatchi PR won Footlocker and Last Minute, the group explained in a statement ahead of its annual general meeting.
Australia is having a strong year, the group added, winning IAG, Lexus and Crimestoppers.
Momentum is also gathering in France as it signed BMW Mini, McCain, Warner Brothers.
In Asia, Japan won Sony and its newest start up, Stockholm, is signed with Norwegian Airlines.
