LONDON (ShareCast) - The Merchant's Trust saw a small reduction in its net asset value (NAV) during the between from 1 August to 31 October, alongside a number of other falls.

NAV decreased from 396.04p at 31 October to 373p at 21 November, while net gearing also fell slightly from 26.3% to 26.9%.

Total assets dropped from 523,477,866 to 497,760,321, while the share price dropped from 376.5p to 349.7p.

The discount, the difference between the share price and the NAV per share expressed as a percentage of the NAV per share, rose from 4.9% to 6.2%, while the yield rose from 6.1% to 6.5%.
